Charlotte Hornets swingman Kon Knueppel will be sidelined for at least four weeks after suffering a left hamstring strain, the team announced on Sunday. Knueppel had re-aggravated the injury in his season debut against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday, leaving the game after fewer than six minutes of playing time.
The setback marks the second absence this season for the 21-year-old, who previously missed Charlotte's first eight games with the same issue. Knueppel entered his sophomore campaign following a rookie year in which he averaged 18.5 points and led the NBA with 273 three-pointers.
