Referee and VAR teams for Celtic and Rangers rematch confirmed
John Beaton has been appointed as the referee for the upcoming Scottish Premiership derby between Celtic and Rangers at Parkhead this Sunday. He will be assisted by David McGeachie and Jonathan Bell on the sidelines. Nick Walsh, who refereed the recent Premier Sports Cup match between the two sides, will take charge of VAR duties alongside assistant Grant Irvine.
This match follows Celtic's recent defeat to Rangers at Ibrox in the Premier Sports Cup. A victory for Celtic would move them eight points clear of Rangers in the league standings, while a Rangers win would close the gap to two points.
