Queensberry has won the purse bid for the WBO title bout between champion Hamzah Sheeraz and Janibek Alimkhanuly. As the reigning champion, Sheeraz is set to receive 75 percent of the winning purse bid, though he previously expressed concerns that the financial offer might fall below his expectations.
According to an ESPN report, targeted dates for the championship fight include November 28 or December 5. Proposed host locations for the matchup are London, Birmingham, and New York City as Alimkhanuly prepares to step up in weight.
