The highly anticipated heavyweight boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is reportedly close to being finalized. According to veteran boxing journalist Dan Rafael, the all-British bout is expected to take place on December 11 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium in Wales. The decision on the venue comes after weeks of uncertainty regarding whether the fight would be held in the United Kingdom or the United States.
Initial discussions involved staging the fight at Madison Square Garden in New York, pushed by Netflix, Sela, and promoter Dana White. However, organizers have reportedly agreed on Cardiff's Principality Stadium because its retractable roof can accommodate the winter weather. Other dates considered for the event included November 28 and December 4.
