India's 15-member ODI squad for the West Indies series includes several players who may not get a game across all three matches.
India hosts West Indies for a three-match ODI series from September 27 to October 3, 2026, across Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, and New Chandigarh. Chief selector Ajit Agarkar's committee named a 15-member squad captained by Shubman Gill, with KL Rahul serving as vice-captain. With Rohit Sharma and Gill confirmed as opening partners, several squad members may face extended bench time.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, Naman Dhir, and Dhruv Jurel are identified as players likely to sit out all three matches. Jaiswal faces stiff top-order competition, while Dhir sits behind all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Jurel remains the backup wicketkeeper behind Rahul, with Rishabh Pant absent to play in the Irani Cup.
