Watch: New UFC signing Luis Hernandez was previously credited with the fastest MMA KO of all time

Luis Hernandez secured a UFC contract on Dana White's Contender Series after submitting Hugo Guillon in the second round of their middleweight clash. The undefeated fighter, who is also a deputy at the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office, improved his professional record to 8-0. Following the comeback victory, UFC CEO Dana White praised both competitors for their intense battle before awarding Hernandez a roster spot.

Hernandez previously gained widespread attention in 2023 at Titan FC 83 after knocking out Brian Topp with an immediate head kick. Although the in-house announcer originally credited him with a one-second knockout, MMA databases such as Tapology and Sherdog officially record the finish at three seconds following review.
