Max Holloway has interjected himself into Justin Gaethje’s back and forth with Ilia Topuria. The two recent lightweight championship rivals have reignited their feud months…

Max Holloway has responded to claims made by Justin Gaethje regarding the physical damage Gaethje inflicts on his opponents. Following his victory over Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250, Gaethje asserted that he leaves all of his opponents with severe facial damage. Topuria suffered broken orbital bones and a fractured septum during the fight, leading him to accuse Gaethje of cheating.
Holloway took to social media to challenge Gaethje's claim, reminding him of their previous encounter at UFC 300. In that bout, Holloway knocked Gaethje out cold with only one second remaining in the final round. Holloway noted that he emerged from their nearly five-round BMF title fight without sustaining significant damage.
