Sutton reckons Celtic find themselves in a self-inflicted mess and it's down to O'Neill to get them out of it

Chris Sutton argued that Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has been poorly supported by the club's board following transfer window failures. Writing ahead of an upcoming match against Rangers, Sutton stated that the current squad vulnerabilities have left the team exposed across recent competitions, including a disappointing performance against Ferencvaros.
Sutton highlighted persistent issues in Celtic's midfield and attack following recent fixtures against Rangers and LASK in Austria. He noted that the departure of Arne Engels left an athletic void that remains unresolved despite the late addition of Oliver Sorensen and appearances from players like Camilo Duran, Kasper Hogh, and Hasseim Hassan.
