Carter, wearing a custom shirt supporting Reese, embraced and held hands with the star forward after her stellar performance against her former team.
Reese recorded 23 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 blocks in the win, extending her WNBA single-season record to 31 double-doubles. This performance followed another historic game against the Connecticut Sun, where she became the first player in WNBA history to record at least 30 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes or fewer.
