England manager Thomas Tuchel has been hit by five key player withdrawals ahead of the upcoming Nations League fixtures. Cole Palmer, Declan Rice, Kobbie Mainoo, Marcus Rashford, and Tino Livramento have all been ruled out of the squad due to various injury concerns. To cover for these losses, Tuchel has called up James Garner and Morgan Gibbs-White.
England is scheduled to kick off their Nations League Group A campaign against Spain at Wembley Stadium this Saturday. Palmer withdrew due to a minor muscle issue, while Rice is resting to manage a lingering hamstring and lower back nerve issue. Mainoo was also ruled out after being substituted during Manchester United's recent match against Fulham.
