Eddie Hearn reveals shock lunch meeting with Chris Eubank Jr to go up against Conor Benn in trilogy fight

Eddie Hearn has revealed that he held a lunch meeting with Chris Eubank Jr to discuss potentially representing him in a trilogy fight against Conor Benn. The move comes after Benn recently left Hearn's promotional banner to sign with UFC president Dana White's Zuffa Boxing. Hearn and Eubank Jr have previously had a tense relationship, but Hearn confirmed they cleared the air during their meeting.

Hearn believes that aligning himself with Eubank Jr against Dana White and Conor Benn would make the potential trilogy fight significantly larger. Eubank Jr won the first bout between the two, but Benn won the rematch in November. Benn was also recently defeated in two rounds by WBC champion Ryan Garcia in his first world title fight.
