Freiburg boss makes Johan Manzambi prediction after Aston Villa breakthrough

SC Freiburg head coach Julian Schuster has predicted that Aston Villa supporters will enjoy watching midfielder Johan Manzambi develop in the Premier League. The 20-year-old Switzerland international recently made his first Premier League start for Aston Villa, scoring a goal and providing an assist in a 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Manzambi joined Aston Villa from Freiburg during the summer transfer window for a club-record fee that could reach £59.5 million with add-ons. His integration into Unai Emery's squad was initially delayed by a knee injury sustained during the World Cup, but he has now recovered and has been called up for international duty by Switzerland manager Murat Yakin.
