A hypothetical trade proposal suggests the Orlando Magic acquire Kevin Durant from the Houston Rockets. Under the proposed trade framework, Houston would receive Franz Wagner, Anthony Black, a 2032 first-round draft pick, and a 2033 first-round pick swap in exchange for Durant.
The proposed deal would send approximately $51.9 million in outgoing salary from Orlando while taking back Durant's $43.9 million salary, helping the Magic reduce payroll below the second apron. Durant has two years remaining on his contract, while Wagner remains signed through the 2029-30 season.
