Bobo: Stormers must evolve

Former Springbok centre Gcobani Bobo stated during a United Rugby Championship media round table that the Stormers require a massive mindset change to mount a sustained title challenge. Bobo argued that the Cape Town team has drifted from the tactical balance that secured them the inaugural URC title during the 2021-22 campaign.

Bobo noted that the Stormers have lost structural shape over the past two years, struggling with kicking patience and over-relying on individual brilliance from stars like Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu, Markus Muller, and Cheslin Kolbe. He emphasized that the team must rebuild a consistent attacking system to support their key players.
