Tottenham reportedly paid Daniel Levy a £27million package covering salary following his departure last year

Former Tottenham Hotspur executive chairman Daniel Levy reportedly received a £27 million payout following his departure from the club last September after a 24-year tenure. According to a report by The Athletic, the compensation package factored in his salary alongside potential bonuses from the club's long-term incentive plan. Despite leaving his executive role, Levy continues to retain an approximate 24 percent stake in Tottenham.
Following Levy's exit, the Lewis family authorized an organizational reset, injecting £320 million into the club over the past year. Tottenham also backed manager Roberto De Zerbi with nearly £400 million spent on 10 summer signings, including Sandro Tonali and Savio. However, the team currently sits at the bottom of the Premier League table after failing to win any of their first five matches.
