New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart may require season-ending knee surgery following an injury sustained in Week 2 against the Los Angeles Rams. According to reports from Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport, subsequent testing revealed the injury was significantly worse than the initially diagnosed four-to-six-week MCL sprain.

With Dart facing an extended absence, veteran quarterback Jameis Winston is set to lead the Giants offense for the remainder of the campaign. The team had initially hoped Dart would return following their bye week after he was able to walk off the field under his own power.
