Man Utd have had injury issues this season and they are coming in areas that are hurting Michael Carrick's team.

Manchester United are facing squad depth issues following summer transfer decisions under manager Michael Carrick. Luke Shaw, the squad's only natural left-back, has missed three of the first seven matches this season due to injury after United failed to secure target Lewis Hall. Patrick Dorgu and Noussair Mazraoui have both deputized in the role during Shaw's absence.
Carrick is also dealing with attacking problems as striker Benjamin Sesko suffered a recurrence of a shin injury after making only two starts. With Matheus Cunha being deployed as a false nine and Joshua Zirkzee struggling for impact, the report highlights United's decision not to sign another striker such as former player Danny Welbeck.
