“I don’t know” – Player hints Brighton future uncertain

Midfielder Yasin Ayari has expressed contentment at Brighton & Hove Albion while leaving his long-term future uncertain. The 22-year-old Sweden international addressed his contract situation with Fotbollskanalen, refusing to confirm or deny whether he plans to sign an extension with the Premier League club. Ayari affirmed that he feels good at the club and remains committed to giving his best as long as he plays for them.

Ayari joined Brighton from AIK Fotboll in January 2023 and previously spent loan spells at Coventry City and Blackburn Rovers under former manager Roberto De Zerbi. Since Fabian Hürzeler took charge, Ayari has become a regular starter. While linked with clubs including AS Roma, Galatasaray, Borussia Dortmund, and Fenerbahçe during the summer transfer window, Brighton reportedly holds an option to extend his contract.
