Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney has joined Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt in their criticism of Benjamin Sesko after his injury setback.

Wayne Rooney has joined former Manchester United teammates Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt in criticizing striker Benjamin Sesko for missing matches due to a shin injury. The injury forced Sesko to sit out Manchester United's 1-1 draw against Fulham and withdraw from Slovenia's squad for the September international fixtures.
Rooney questioned the severity of the injury on his podcast, claiming players should play through minor knocks and suggesting Sesko likely wears inadequate shin protection. Leeds United defender Jaka Bijol previously defended international teammate Sesko, who aims to return when United host Tottenham Hotspur on October 10.
