Satnam-Salman win bronze in men’s double sculls as India add another medal

Satnam Singh and Salman Khan won a bronze medal for India in the men's double sculls final at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Thursday. The Indian duo recorded a time of 6:13.25 to secure third place, finishing behind gold medal winners Yi Xudi and Nie Yide of China and silver medallists Mekhrojbek Mamatkulov and Pavel Sorin of Uzbekistan.

Elsewhere in rowing, Balraj Panwar finished fourth in the men's single sculls final with a time of 6:54.80. In wushu, Naorem Roshibina Devi took silver after a 0-2 loss to China's Zhang Xiaoyu in the women's sanda 60kg final, bringing India's medal total to 14.
