Maple Leafs’ B-squad defeat Senators 4-2 in scrappy affair

The Toronto Maple Leafs' B-squad defeated the Ottawa Senators 4-2 in a physical preseason game in Ottawa. The heated contest featured four separate fights and a total of 54 penalty minutes between the two teams. Henrik Rybinski opened the scoring for Toronto, followed by a tip-in goal from Steven Lorentz, a late go-ahead goal by Ryan Tverberg, and an empty-netter from Teddy Blueger.

Physical altercations included Landon Sim dropping the gloves twice, fighting both Matthew Andonovsky and Nick Cousins.
