McGrady, alongside Vince Carter and Lou Williams, discussed the state of the Eastern Conference, though he did not report any specific pending transactions or target players.

Miami currently holds 14 players on standard contracts, leaving one regular-season roster spot open. To acquire Antetokounmpo and Bobby Portis, the Heat traded Tyler Herro, Kel'el Ware, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Kasparas Jakucionis, three first-round draft picks, a first-round pick swap, and a second-round pick.
