Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio discusses the threat of the Bears’ rushing attack as the Eagles look to bounce back from last season’s matchup.

Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio announced that the defense will maintain its preparation scheme for the Chicago Bears regardless of quarterback uncertainty. Bears starter Caleb Williams is week-to-week after suffering a non-contact hamstring injury against the Minnesota Vikings, while backup Tyson Bagent is dealing with a concussion. Third-string quarterback Case Keenum remains the only fully available option.
Fangio emphasized that the defense will focus heavily on containing Chicago's under-center rushing attack, regardless of who plays under center. In their matchup last season, the Bears rushed for 281 yards against Philadelphia, with Kyle Monangai and D'Andre Swift each posting more than 100 rushing yards.
