Magic Adding Kevin Knox On Exhibit 10 Contract, 4 Others Signed & Waived

Free agent forward Kevin Knox II has signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the Orlando Magic and will join the team for training camp, according to Jason Beede of The Orlando Sentinel. In addition, Orlando announced the signings of Ricky Council IV, Au'Diese Toney, Ace Baldwin Jr., and Jarron Cumberland on Exhibit 10 deals, all of whom have since been waived.

Knox, a seven-year NBA veteran originally drafted ninth overall in 2018, spent last season in the G League with the Windy City Bulls. Ineligible for a two-way contract due to his experience, Knox's Exhibit 10 deal allows him to earn a bonus of up to $91,000 if waived and subsequently retained by the Osceola Magic for at least 60 days.
