Jacob Misiorowski puts up eye-popping numbers. But the Meaning of the Miz is so much more

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jacob Misiorowski has produced historically unprecedented velocity numbers across his 2026 campaign. In 29 starts covering 169 1/3 innings, the 24-year-old right-hander has thrown 1,077 pitches at 100 mph or faster, topping out with a pitch clocked at 105.5 mph.

His velocity totals vastly outpace every other starting pitcher across Major League Baseball. Bubba Chandler of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Walbert Ureña of the Los Angeles Angels are the only other starters with at least 100 pitches recorded at 100 mph or faster this season.
