National team boss insists Arsenal player ‘available’ despite missing match

Netherlands manager Xavi announced that Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber remains available for selection, despite missing a training session and being excluded from the squad to face Germany. The decision to leave Timber out came as Xavi had to trim three players due to roster limits, though the manager confirmed there is no fresh injury concern.

Timber has been placed on an individual training program in consultation with Arsenal following his previous long-term injury. Arsenal has managed the 25-year-old carefully this season, limiting his playing time to 45 minutes against Sunderland and 60 minutes against Brighton & Hove Albion.
