The Atlanta Falcons travel to Lambeau Field to face the Green Bay Packers on Thursday Night Football in Week 3. Following a 34-3 home defeat against the Carolina Panthers, Atlanta announced that quarterback Michael Penix Jr. will make his season debut as the starting quarterback, replacing Cooper Rush.
A victory over Green Bay would improve Atlanta's all-time record against the Packers to 18-19 and provide momentum ahead of a Monday night game against the New Orleans Saints. Conversely, a loss would drop the Falcons to 0-3 on the season and keep them at the bottom of the NFC South.
