The Carolina Panthers have signed linebacker Maema Njongmeta to their practice squad ahead of Week 3 of the 2026 NFL season, according to the league's official transaction report. Njongmeta rejoins Carolina after being released by the team at the end of the 2026 preseason.
The 25-year-old previously played in 15 games for the Panthers in 2025, recording 10 tackles and a forced fumble. With Carolina currently standing at 1-1 and managing several defensive injuries, Njongmeta provides experienced depth as the team prepares to visit the Cleveland Browns.
