Panthers’ Wide Receiver Duo Is Becoming One of the NFL’s Best

Carolina Panthers wide receivers Tetairoa McMillan and Jalen Coker are emerging as one of the NFL's premier tandems two weeks into the 2026 season. McMillan entered the campaign as an established star following his Offensive Rookie of the Year win, while former undrafted receiver Coker has developed into a reliable target for quarterback Bryce Young.

Offensive coordinator Brad Idzik has utilized a versatile approach by moving both players across the formation to challenge opposing defenses. Against the Chicago Bears, McMillan played 68.4 percent of his routes outside and 31.6 percent in the slot, while Coker lined up outside on 58.8 percent of his routes and in the slot 35.3 percent of the time.
