Former Dortmund, Brighton and Frankfurt midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud set to play under Andrea Pirlo

Former Borussia Dortmund and Brighton midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud is set to sign with UAE club Dubai FC on a free transfer. The club teased the arrival of the 30-year-old midfielder via an Instagram post on Thursday ahead of an official announcement.

Dahoud became a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer. Upon completing the move, he will play under Italian manager Andrea Pirlo, who has been in charge of Dubai FC since summer 2025.
