Chicago Bulls rookie Caleb Wilson has set ambitious goals as he prepares for his first NBA season, aiming to become a team leader and pursue the Rookie of the Year award. Wilson also expressed goals surrounding defense and stated an ambition to surpass Michael Jordan's legacy in franchise history.

The Bulls selected Wilson after finishing the 2025-26 season with a 31-51 record. The franchise has qualified for the NBA playoffs only once since 2017 and suffered losses in the Play-In Tournament in three of the previous four seasons.
