West Indies captain Hayley Matthews set a new record for the highest individual score in West Indies women's ODI history by scoring 182 runs off 156 balls against Zimbabwe. Opening the batting, Matthews struck 26 fours and two sixes, leading her side to a total of 299 for 6 in their 50 overs after winning the toss.

Matthews shared a 128-run opening partnership off 140 balls with Grimmond before the rest of the batting order contributed modestly, with Zimbabwe bowler Francisca Chipare taking two wickets. Her 182-run innings places her sixth on the list of highest individual scores in all-time women's ODI cricket.
