Manchester United are not planning a permanent transfer move for Leeds United striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin ahead of the January transfer window. Despite speculation that the club needs competition for starting striker Benjamin Sesko, former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown confirmed that Calvert-Lewin is not currently part of the club's recruitment shortlist.

Calvert-Lewin has scored three goals in five Premier League games this season following his previous free transfer departure from Everton. Leeds United reportedly have no intention of selling the 29-year-old forward and may open contract extension talks, with his existing deal running until 2028.
