Headlining this rookie class are Carson Benge and Nolan McLean, who are both competing for the National League Rookie of the Year award. Other rookies, including A.J. Ewing, Christian Scott, and Zac Thornton, have also delivered impressive debut campaigns.
McLean pitched to a 3.16 ERA across 31 starts, establishing himself as a key rotation piece. Meanwhile, Benge excelled after a slow start, batting .290 with 17 home runs since May 1, putting him on the verge of a historic 20/20 rookie season. Outfielder A.J. Ewing also contributed strong defense and base running to round out the rookie group.
