Wales hooker Ryan Elias is set to make his 200th appearance for the Scarlets in their United Rugby Championship season opener against Cardiff Rugby. The milestone match will take place on Saturday, September 26, at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli. Elias will become only the fifth player in the region's history to reach this double-century landmark.
The 31-year-old hooker joins an elite group of Scarlets players, including Phil John, Gareth Davies, Ken Owens, Aaron Shingler, and Jonathan Davies. Elias, who grew up in Carmarthen, expressed immense pride in reaching the milestone after overcoming various injuries throughout his career.
