Bove announces new documentary on cardiac arrest and rebirth at Watford

Italian midfielder Edoardo Bove has announced a new documentary detailing his 2024 on-pitch cardiac arrest and his subsequent return to professional football. Directed by Giovanni Troilo, the film is titled 'In Un Battito' (In A Heartbeat) and is scheduled for release in Italian cinemas soon.

Bove suffered a cardiac arrest on December 1, 2024, while playing for Fiorentina on loan from Roma. After receiving an implanted cardiac defibrillator, Italian regulations prevented him from playing in Serie A, leading to his move to English club Watford, where the 24-year-old has made seven appearances this season.
