Junior Caminero had a cold quote on facing either the Yankees or Red Sox in the playoffs

The Tampa Bay Rays clinched the American League East division title on Tuesday following a 6-1 victory over the New York Yankees at Yankee Stadium. During the postgame locker room celebration, infielder Junior Caminero was asked by MLB Network reporter Lauren Shehadi whether he preferred facing the Yankees or the Boston Red Sox in the playoffs. Caminero dismissively answered that the team will play whoever and simply wants to win no matter what.

By securing the top seed in the American League, the Rays earned a bye to the American League Division Series. Tampa Bay will face the winner of the wild-card matchup between the Yankees and Red Sox. The Rays held a 96-62 record with four regular-season games remaining.
