Blackhawks extend another one of their core with Oliver Moore’s five-year deal

The Chicago Blackhawks announced on September 24 that they have signed 21-year-old forward Oliver Moore to a five-year contract extension. The deal carries an average annual value (AAV) of $4.25 million. Moore was originally selected 19th overall by Chicago and was entering the final season of his three-year entry-level contract.

The agreement follows several recent long-term extensions completed by Chicago, including new contracts for Bowen Byram, Connor Bedard, Frank Nazar, and Alex Vlasic. Moore recorded 19 points across 51 games during his rookie campaign, playing across multiple forward positions at both center and wing.
