Lardis, a 21-year-old forward, spent the offseason getting stronger and working on his goal-scoring craft around the net.

Chicago Blackhawks forward Nick Lardis spent the offseason refining his game in preparation for a potential breakout campaign. After recording 18 goals in 35 AHL games last season before being promoted to the NHL, Lardis focused on adapting to the professional level under the guidance of skills coach Josh Wrobel.
During the summer, the 21-year-old worked extensively on net-front play, puck protection, and utilizing his speed more consistently. Lardis also added approximately 20 pounds of muscle, entering the new season weighing around 185 pounds following exit meetings with head coach Jeff Blashill.
