Australian fast bowler Nathan Ellis has returned to peak form in ODI cricket, taking 12 wickets across his last four appearances. After missing the entire IPL 2026 season for Chennai Super Kings with a hamstring injury, the 31-year-old pacer has displayed full fitness ahead of IPL 2027 during series against Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Ellis claimed nine wickets in Zimbabwe, highlighted by figures of 5 for 31 and an unbeaten 36 to clinch a one-wicket win in Harare. He followed that performance by taking 3 for 57 against South Africa in Durban, dismissing Quinton de Kock, David Miller, and Marco Jansen.
