Manchester United academy forward JJ Gabriel has requested to leave the club amid transfer interest from major European teams. Barcelona sporting director Deco responded to rumors linking the 15-year-old with a move to the Spanish club, stating that Barcelona are not involved and are not interested in any player in his situation.

Gabriel was set to make his senior debut under Michael Carrick against Brighton in the Carabao Cup before being omitted following his exit request. He turns 16 on October 6 and can join a foreign club on a permanent basis via his Irish passport.
