Benni McCarthy, former Manchester United striker coach, has expressed his ambition to manage the club in the future.

Kenya national team manager Benni McCarthy has revealed that his long-term ambition is to coach Manchester United. The 48-year-old former striker coach at Old Trafford expressed concern that ongoing work permit issues during his 18-month tenure with the Harambee Stars could jeopardize his future prospects of securing the role.
Manchester United have faced a difficult start under manager Michael Carrick, though club ownership INEOS is reportedly not planning immediate coaching changes. Meanwhile, reports in Italy indicate that former Chelsea and Napoli manager Antonio Conte could be a leading candidate if United decide to replace Carrick.
