Her departure adds to an impending roster overhaul for the Dragons, following the confirmed exits of former co-captain Zali Hopkins and State of Origin star Teagan Berry. Anderson served as the club's captain for the 2026 campaign after joining from the Cronulla Sharks.

Meanwhile, the Cronulla Sharks announced the permanent signing of Berry on a two-year contract running through the 2028 season. Sharks coach Tony Herman praised Berry's versatility and try-scoring ability across the backline ahead of her arrival for the 2027 season.
