James Garner makes Manchester United admission after £15m transfer

Everton midfielder James Garner stated he is "more than happy" that he left Manchester United following his £15 million permanent transfer in 2022. The 25-year-old explained that moving away from Old Trafford gave him essential playing time rather than sitting on the bench, which ultimately led to his recall to the England senior squad.

Garner previously spent nine years in Manchester United's academy and had loan spells at Watford and Nottingham Forest before joining Everton. England head coach Thomas Tuchel recalled Garner for upcoming Nations League fixtures against Spain, Czechia, and Croatia after the midfielder earned his first two senior caps in March.
