Mikey Musumeci defeated UFC fighter Bryce Mitchell by unanimous decision in the headliner of UFC BJJ 11. Despite self-imposed rules against butt scooting and finishing leg locks, the UFC BJJ bantamweight champion dominated Mitchell across all three rounds. Musumeci repeatedly swept Mitchell and threatened him with an anaconda choke, an omoplata, and a late armbar.
Mitchell admitted after the match that he was stuck in survival mode and could not execute his offensive game plan. Following his dominant victory, Musumeci reiterated his future plans to transition to mixed martial arts.
