Flames Fall to Kraken 4-3 in Preseason Shootout

The Seattle Kraken defeated the Calgary Flames 4-3 in a preseason shootout on Thursday night at Climate Pledge Arena. Calgary initially built a 3-1 lead through regulation with goals from Jonathan Costagna, Rory Kerins, and Aydar Suniev. Seattle stayed within reach behind a first-period goal from Bobby McMann before mounting a third-period comeback.

Brandon Montour and Ryker Evans scored early in the third period for Seattle to tie the contest 3-3. After a scoreless overtime period, Berkly Catton netted the deciding goal in the shootout to complete the Kraken's comeback victory against Calgary's goaltender Devin Cooley.
