Bulldogs confirm departure of Sean O’Sullivan

The Canterbury Bulldogs have confirmed that playmaker Sean O'Sullivan is leaving the NRL club to join English Super League side St Helens. St Helens announced the permanent signing on Friday afternoon, marking the seventh professional club of O'Sullivan's career after previous stints across multiple NRL teams. O'Sullivan is scheduled to link up with his new team in England ahead of the upcoming pre-season.

O'Sullivan made 66 first-grade NRL appearances following his debut in 2018. At St Helens, he will play under incoming head coach Kevin Walters, who is slated to take over the club starting in 2027. O'Sullivan joins other recent recruits, including Solomona Faataape and Christian Tuipulotu, as part of the English outfit's squad reshaping.
