Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Ladislav Krejci has shared a positive fitness update while on international duty with the Czech Republic. The 27-year-old center-back missed Wolves' recent 1-0 win against West Bromwich Albion due to a calf injury, leaving manager Cesar Peixoto uncertain about his availability. Despite initially not training with the squad, Krejci stated he feels good ahead of Saturday's match against Croatia.
Czech Republic manager Santi Denia confirmed that Krejci will retain the captain's armband for their upcoming UEFA Nations League fixtures. The national side is scheduled to play four matches in under two weeks against Croatia, Spain, and England twice. Wolves will continue to closely monitor the defender's physical status to avoid any further setbacks.
