F1 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prux – Qualifying Results

Mercedes driver George Russell secured pole position for the 2026 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit. Russell set a benchmark lap time of 1:42.526, putting him more than eight tenths of a second ahead of Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc in second place.

McLaren's Oscar Piastri took third on the grid, just ahead of Red Bull's Isack Hadjar, who returned from a wrist injury. Lando Norris took fifth, Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton finished sixth, and Red Bull's Max Verstappen qualified in eighth place.
