Travis Etienne quickly easing Jaguars’ regret with unremarkable Saints start

Running back Travis Etienne has produced a quiet start through two games with the New Orleans Saints. After the Jacksonville Jaguars opted not to re-sign him, Etienne signed a four-year, $52 million contract in free agency, returning to his home state of Louisiana to join New Orleans.

Through the opening two contests of the season, Etienne has recorded 17 carries for 71 yards and zero touchdowns, averaging 4.2 yards per attempt. He is currently sharing backfield duties with veteran running back Alvin Kamara.
